Hi! My name is Giordano Maestrelli, I'm a multidiscplinary artist focused on filmmaking.
I dropped out of Graphical Design college and started my directing career in 2018 alongside my good friend Duran Sodré under the alias Vira-Lata. Together, we directed commercials for brands such as Nike, Budweiser, Facebook, Nissan and music-videos for artists like Unknown Mortal Orchestra, SOHN and Terno Rei. Since 2023 I've been solo directing.
my goal is to create a body of work that is strong yet minimal, rooted in cinematic language to convey feelings, concepts and ideas as pure as they can be.
I also write and DP from time to time.
I'm represented by Stink Films in Brazil, México, United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Czech Republic, China and Japan.
In Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East I'm with Go East.
